Conundrums, independent and ornamental: an analysis of the actions of evangelical councilors in cities of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba

Abstract

Delimited in the 2013-2016 legislature, search for actions of evangelical councilors that include religious values and can influence the daily life of cities in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. Legalized, the effectiveness of laws can attest to the communion of the same ideology between city councilmen and the population, but diametrically opposed, also expose the distance from the majority wishes. Recent and notorious, the interest of evangelicals in participating in the country's political decisions instigates research on the defenses of moral values that legitimize. Postulates of Morin, Burke, Certeau and Ultramari support the triad of city councilors, population, and evangelical values and, as it combines knowledge and information, circulate ideas that flow from forceful, independent or ornamental actions.
