From the Literary to the photographic astonishment – Barthes’s punctum

  • Rodrigo Fontanari Universidade de Sorocaba

Abstract

The article consists of notes for the approach of the literary roots of Barthes' notion of punctum. Understanding literature as photography, it intends to demonstrate that this notion was already being drafted, in a certain way, in the critical essays of Barthes in the 1950s. These notes are expected to forward the argument of an understanding of the photographic literature of a French avant-garde and not by chance filmmaker Alain Robbe-Grillet without continuity.
