Abstract

This paper takes into consideration the use of collaborative content during the Covid-19 pandemic, a context that forced the Brazilian TV journalism community to find production strategies, adapted to conditions of lower mobility of reporting teams. Its goal is to diagnose the changes that forced journalists through the limitations set during the pandemic. For a qualitative analysis, the news programs Jornal Globonews Edição das 18h and Globonews em Pauta, by Globonews channel, were chosen, specifically the contents of the march and june of 2020 programs. The result points to the intensification of strategies already used by news programs, such as long-distance interviews and the use of infographics and digital illustrations to obliterate the absence of images, and  favoring of older and most prestigious journalists, who become more visible, eventually settling into the role of commentators, and consequently giving their opinion analyzing the context. The presence of these developments changes the internal dynamic of newscast production and the specificity of its contents.
