Abstract

The text analyzes the act of ‘get print' for the images that circulate on internet access devices (computers, mobile phones), as a new way of acting on images. It problematizes and reframes the notion of the photographic index juxtaposed to this practice, which indicates a re-indexialization as a singular modality of contemporary photography. From this framework, the operational procedure of the third click / get print is problematized repositioning the visual reference places in contemporary society, triangulated between culture and technology; and that allow the understanding of this phenomenon as an encounter with images already produced and existing only in world of screens. Thus, the aim is to outline the attributes that make up the third click such as post-photography, panoptics, surveillance and control.
