The collective praxis in Makarenko

Abstract

This article is the preliminary result of a doctoral research in Education, whose objective is to investigate the praxis within the Soviet revolutionary process. Among the contributions of the research, the role of Makarenko is highlighted – a Ukrainian educator whose theoretical-practical experience was based on the construction of a pedagogy based on the principle of solidarity and cooperation existing between people. Makarenian pedagogy was a reflection of a society whose political-educational praxis was focused on the collective management of social life. With a literature review on Makarenko's collective praxis, a methodology was extracted that sought to combine theory and practice, through work and collective praxis, whose purpose was to contribute to the formation of a new personality within the contradictions of a society in transition.
